Yes I reaise that I actually asked my daughter ,known for her thrift she said dont bother its rubbish ,so I havent ..actually I find now that all the stores where I live seem to be competing with each other especially as they opened a new super center, Wallmart not too far away , I dont like the store its very basic and its like one in Russia ..or used to be I hear Russia s pretty good nowadys ...LOL
The quality stinks. It's cheap stuff. My husband bought me a nail file kit from there and I had to throw it away because the nail clippers couldn't clip! Cheap, cheap, cheap.
I went in one and wasnt impressed by the quality ....
You just have to look because sometimes you can find name brand items there, and that is a great deal.
In England we have those stores, called "Pound shops". I never ever buy dog food or dog treats in them, and if I buy hair ornaments, they break really quickly, sometimes within a couple of days! The socks you buy there seem good but wear out in 3 weeks! BUT I bought an alarm clock for £1 years ago! And it still works! Picture frames are OK too.
It depends greatly on what you are buying. Don't buy food storage items. They usually don't work very well. They're more toxic, too. Don't use their medications and supplements--you have no idea what you're getting or how much of it. Some things like gift wraps and party items are a great deal. Batteries are worth it. The kitchen utensils are garbage. Sometimes you'll find brand name yarns for knitting and crocheting. The other crafting items are pretty good. I don't trust children's toys. The coloring books are fine, of course. Stationery items are usually okay, depending on what you get.
