Well I did take a look at the shopping channel and you know there wre some interesting reasonable gifts up there I have shopped with them before and found them good, yesterday in the night, I saw an alarm clock that had about 10 soothing sounds on it to help one sleep, it sounded pretty good its was about 25 bucks , yes they have expensive stuff but kids toys are usually reasonable and also the latest trends ...

Yeah....I get that too. After weeks of being strict and sensible, and desperately trying not to spend money....suddenly my little wild-child rebels!! Just like I was a toddler, and have no control over myself!! Then I go in a shop and deliberately buy chocolate/biscuits/cake decoration(!?)/stupid stuff....
Then I come home, wolf the stuff down, think "OMG! I just paid £5 for THAT!" And I think WHY?? Why did I DO THAT?
And the reason is....Nature abhors a belt pulled in too tight!  Don't ask me why that is......It must be against the survival instinct or something....
