Chloroquin malaria reactions in yng adult

Concerned if Chloroquin causes liver damage/eye damage taking it for 2 weeks in field Belize and 4 weeks following return to Fla. I smoke, had pneumonia and am allergic to penicillian & sulphur. If reactions with 2nd pill [500 mg] in jungle, what should be done if little or no medical help [outside of obviously stopping malaria medication]. Should I bring aspirin or Advil to alleviate symptoms or handle reactions while in Belize jungles? G
