Hep A & B vaccinations - is it necessary for all shots in a series to be made by the same manufacturer?

I have received the first shot in a Hep A series and the first 2 shots in a Hep B series.  My final doses for both vaccines are due at the same time.  I have two related questions.

First, I want to know if it is ok for the final dose to be with a vaccine from a different manufacturer than my intial doses.  My initial shots were given in the US and I am now living in Shanghai.  I do not know who made the vaccines I received and have been unable to reach the administering doctor.  This doctor knew I would be in China for the final dose and said nothing about different versions which makes me think it is not an issue.  Nevertheless, I have heard that some doctors might expect consistency.

Second, if it is ok to have different manufacturers, I have heard of a Hep A & B combo vaccine shot that is available (made by Twinrex).  Is it ok for me to receive my final vaccination this way, even though my intial shots were separate doses?

Thanks to anyone who can help.  Just trying to be sure I have all the info.

There shouldn't be a problem completing your series of Hepatitis A and B vaccinations with a vaccine from a different manufacturer = although it would have been better done that way. The Twinrix vaccine is a combination vaccine for Hep A and B and is given in three doses on the same schedule as the Hepatitis B series is. The single Hepatitis A vaccine is given in two doses. Therefore the makeup of the Twinrix is different than the makeup of separate Hep A and B vaccines so it probably wouldn't be prudent to get one Twinrix vaccine dose for your third shot.
