What is an acceptable way to administer Malarone to a toddler? We are going to Punta Cana and are sad to take malaria drugs, but it seems Malarone is the best option since we feel we have no choice (another post on this site seems to confirm Malarone as a better alternative)... However, we are sure our 1 1/2 year old will not swallow the tablet.
I have searched the internet and have come across two suggestions (neither from a medical professional): 1. crush and put into jam on bread. 2. dissolve in milk. Any advice? Or do I have to find a way to get my son to swallow it?
