Preservatives

Is it still true that flu vacine is preserved using a mercury derivative?

I will certainly do so. The last time I checked with the VA clinic they stated that theirs had the mercury. Shortly after they began advising their patients that if they were over 65 it would be better for them not to have the flu vaccine because of the possible connection to Alzheimer's.

I think you should ask to see the vial at dr's office.  I just read something yesterday that some are still being used, even though the dr's are thinking they are all thimerosal free.
