Monday was a TB skin test. It was read as negative on Wednesday. NOW...today... Friday... it is large, round, red, and angry looking, with a "barely beige" colored inner circle. Is this normalNormal saline flush? We do know that because she had a BCG a couple of years ago she could have shown a false positive on Wednesday when we went back.
She also had her T.B. test, Chicken Pox vaccination, and 1st of 3 Gaurdasil vaccinations... all done on either Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday, AND... I don't know why... but all 3 were administered into the same arm, her left arm. ?????
Is this large red angry looking circle normalNormal saline flush for 4 days after the TB test? Should we go back to the nurse and have her look at it again?
She says it also itches like crazy!!!
Please tell us if we need to go back to the nurse who gave her the TB skin test or not.
