is it alright to take the vaccine against meningitis and influenza at the same time?

Yes, there is no problem receiving both vaccinations at the same time. It's perfectly normal to receive up to 6 vaccinations at the same time -  often done when someone needs vaccinations for travel. Both the Meningitis and Influenza are inactivated vaccines and are given in the upper arm (muscle). There are very few if any side effects for either.
