lasting effects

My 16 year old daughter got her first shot of Gardasil yesterday. How long will it take for the side effects to appear and how long will they last?

Hi there,
Fainting can happen after getting Gardasil.Pain, swelling, itching, bruising, redness at injection site, headache, vomiting, dizziness and fainting are few side effects. It may not be necessary that all girls who receive Gardasil will experience side effects. The side effects are usually noted within first 24 hours of giving the injection. If she has not developed any side effects till now it is unlikely that she will have them. It is best to discuss your concerns with a local healthcare provider before taking the next dose.
