varicella igg antibody test
I got tested for varicella igg antibodies and the result shows positive and "higher than normal range" antibodies. What does this mean? I though the presence of antibodies is a good thing and indicates immunity. Then why is my test result flagged as abnormal for "high" antibodies? (I was vaccinated against varicella about 11 years ago; no active disease experience).
