About the MH Social we need debates !

This is just my personal opinion from what I have observed since the politic ban. I understand why that happened. i do think the social is fun, but I think people are missing stimulating debate. had an idea, yep im thinking again LOL. Ever see the movie Denzil Washington"The Great Debators" its about real debate what it suposed to be structured. I am wondering if we could have scheduled debates w a different member volunteering to monitor and follow all MH guidelines and debate in the proper way, Would not have to touch politics could be any topic,,ie) Are people basically good or evil? Is it morally wrong to lie to children about Santa? and on and on members could think up stuff, topic could be approved by Swampy if hes willing or MH if you are willing. Just an idea. any thoughts anyone?

I agree with you, I believe thats what America is founded on 'Free Speech its what I came here for ,and actually there are only a handful of trouble makers.. I dont think that any censorship on a Social forum is a good idea.folks simply have to allow all to have their own opinions, I would love to have debates back. ..

There is no reason not to have debates on Social.  I thought it was just political subjects that were thought to be a bad idea?

Don't forget, you always have the option of your journal for more political topics, too.
