Answering ?'s in the Expert forum

Hello MH Moderators,

Is it protocol for MH members to answer questions in the "Expert Forum"?  I've seen this a few times, and I got the impression from one doctor's follow up post that he didn't appreciate it.  Just curious.

Hi Claire,

No, I've never seen anything inappropriate.  One time a while back I saw a member answer a question intended for a MH expert, and the expert posted after the fact - and didn't seem happy that a MH member answered a question intended for him first.  I just saw another member post and it reminded me of that time.  Just wondering if we're not supposed to post in the expert forum.

Thanks for answering and have a great weekend!

Hi, sandstone27,

Our experts generally answer questions in these forums, although other members might occasionally join the discussion with a followup question or comment.  If you come across any posts that you feel don't belong, please feel free to let us know by clicking the "Report" link and we'll take a look at it.
