Board suggestion

Hello -
I would like to see a new board on eating disorders and body image.  I think it is critical to address this issue on multiple levels, for children, teens, young women, mid-life, etc.  Also, I think you need to approach this issue from the perspective of sufferers, survivors/those in recovery, parents/friends/childre/spouses/supporters of ED individuals, and from the perspective of the medical community + nutritionist profession + mental health profession.  There needs to be a comprehensive way to discuss these issues on all these levels, and it needs to start with discussions of body image, definisions of beauty, self-acceptance/esteem, cultural norms, fashion, etc.
