Can't sync My Cycles on android

I just got a new (android) phone, and want to transfer My Cycles calendar to the new phone. I was able to log in on the new phone, but the calendar is blank. In responses to other questions, there are instructions to go to "Settings" and select "Sync/Backup," but when I go to settings, there is no such option. Why am I not seeing that setting, and what do I need to do to sync the app on the new phone? No data is syncing to my website profile, either.

The sync always took a while of waiting on the same page but ever since the android my diet diary app was updated to the new style that wont sync either. Could be related?

Bustah, I'm sorry you are having problems with the app. It would be really helpful if you also could tap on Settings in the app (either by tapping on the 3 bars at the top to open the menu or on Settings at the bottom of the app, or on your phone in Android), then Support, and send us an email. If you could say "yes" when it asks you to send data, we will be able to check things out from our end. If you need more specific instructions for your app on your device, just let us know, as these are general instructions.

This will allow us to capture your data, and what type of device you use the app on, and what version of the app you are having. If you could type in the email that you posted here, and a brief explanation of the issue, that would be great. If you have some specifics of what hasn't synced, that would be great, too.

We appreciate it, and apologize for any inconvenience this causes.

I am having this same issue.  I have used this app on my andriod for 8 months, and since the update with this app my phone no longer syncs with my computer?  It always has in the past but now nothing?  Please help.  Same log in, nothing has changed but the update to this app.

Hi Emily. I've logged in on both phones using the same details. When I go to settings sync or backup doesn't appear at all. I'll lodge an email through support. As someone else had this issue thought this might be quicker. Thanks for the help.

We have updated sync, and that should be fixed.

When you send us the email, can you let us know specifically what isn't syncing for you - is it everything, specific meals, is it more random, etc?

Hi - when you logged in did you use the same username and password you used on your original phone?  If so, what do you see?

Thanks for the quick response.

I have been using the app for several months, but didn't create an account until I got a new phone and wanted to transfer the data. I still have the old phone. I just entered some data using the old phone, and it did appear on the website, but not on the new phone.
How do I use the old phone to sync the past few months of data to the new phone?

Hi there -

I'm sorry you are having problems.

If you enter data today, does it appear on the website? How long have you been using the app, and had you ever synced it on the old phone? It looks as if you just created this account yesterday.

If you still have your old phone, you can log in there, and should be able to sync the info to the site and your new phone.
