Comments not Posting

How come comments aren't posting when we hit the Post Comment button?  I've had this happen and I've had others ask me about it, as well... When we make a comment on a thread, you click the Post Comment button and the comment doesn't post, so you have to re-type the comment, which isn't always easy to reconstruct if it's a long, complicated comment, then when you post it the second time, the first one shows up, so it looks like you've posted the same thing twice.

It's almost like the second post "pushes" the first one to post... Is this a known glitch?

Hi there... no, this isn't what we're seeing this time.  This time, the first comment isn't even showing up until after we post a second one, then it's almost like the second one "forces" the first one to post.  

I had one the other day that didn't post for over an hour, but when I recreated it and reposted, the first one showed up at the same time as the second one.

Why do all the weird things happen to me??  But then others are having the same trouble, as they were asking about it in the CL group last night.

Hi,  I had remembered a while back an issue that I had occasionally encountered and having it explained to me when another poster asked about it here.  So, I went through and found it and guess what?  The person who had asked the question was you Barb!  Here is the post:

Is this what is happening?  When I had the issue, I would post my comment.  I'd look and it wouldn't be there.  I'd think maybe it was lost or something I had done made it disappear so I'd repost it.  Then I'd look back and there would be two posts from me.  

I've not had that issue for several months now.  But wanted to see if this is what is going on for you and if this previous post would be helpful.  good luck

I had one in the CL group forum on Nov 6 and I got an e-mail from a member of the Thyroid Disorders forum this afternoon saying she's had it happen twice in the past few days... I'll find them and send them in... I thought this is where we supposed to report that kind of thing.  Sorry.

Hi Barb -

We haven't seen any other complaints of this. Can you give me some examples of double comment posts that you've made, or seen? I've looked over your posts for the last several days, and don't see any duplicates. If you or the others have examples of this, please send it to Contact Us.
