I'd be interested in topic related to seniors who get these sudden onset or age related diseases or conditions like Raynaud's, inner ear problems--Cochlear Hydrops, and various eye conditions like inturned eyelashes, shingles and post shingles problems. etc.

I have stage 3 kidney disease and have problems in eating low carbs, low potassium, low phosphates. I don't have the patience nor the knowledge of "cooking" and cannot eat steaks every day, I have other medical problems for which I take medications. For the kidney disease, I am now taking Zemplar 1mcg-3 times/wk. Any suggestions to help me not reach stage 4 would be appreciated.

I was just Dx with a Sliding Hiatal Hernia and placed on Domperidone. Only been on it for 2 days ( 10 mg qid). Having some side effects such as Headache, Dry Mouth, Hot Flashes (during the night) and a little anxiety. Will these symptoms pass as my body adjusts to the med or is this an abnormal reaction. Would like to know more about treatment opitions for a Sliding Hiatal Hernia.

I had radiation to the pelvic area for uterine cancer would likke to now more on the after efffects(damage)this can have.Also recently was dx with ischemic colitis would like to ask about that.

I was diagnosed with emphesyma; they say I was only using %50% of my lungs.
Now I'm being told I have 1 diaphram that is not working.. Frozen, paralysed?
Sounds to me like the problem is not my lungs but the one diaphram not working on one lung. I can't seem to find much about the diaphram, on the internet.
