Finding a person's profile page

I find it frustrating to try to go to a person's profile page.  If they're currently active on the right-hand mood column, it's easy...you just click on their name there...BUT, if they're not, and you type their name in the search box, it brings up posts they have made, and you have to click on one of THEM, and then you have to click on the person's name IN that post to go to their profile page.

Couldn't it be so that if you type a person's screenname in the search you go directly to that person's profile page?

Thanks so much MH....I can't believe I didn't know about that feature!  I didn't also know for example, until a couple months ago, that there was a drop-down window for getting to one's communities under My Shortcuts, lol....I found THAT reading someone's thread about getting around the forum....

You can search for people using People Search. Click on People at the top of the page and on the right side you can search by member name, location, interests, communities, etc.

Yes, exactly like that.  THAT would be great, or to just go there, to the same place, by typing swampcritter into the search bar.
