Thanks for giving us the rundown, John. Most of all, we're glad you got it all back! And yeah... you shouldn't be able to block yourself.
Well, I found a way around the problem and was able to bring my tracker back (what a relief). I had to go in and create a new tracker as if it were someone else, then change it back to myself from the main page of the tracker, where it says "Food Diary | Reports | My Foods for …" and all the lost data came back.
However, as it seems to be blocking setting the tracker to "myself" in the settings on these trackers, this might be a problem that needs to be looked into. I don't know if it is just doing this to me or if there are other people experiencing the same problem; but you may need to look into this.
I tried deleting the tracker and bringing it back and now I can't bring the tracker back as myself. Obviously, it is the "myself" under "who is the tracker for" that is being blocked. So, what do I do now?
On the food tracker, I tried to edit the privacy settings; on the exercise tracker, I tried to move some of the fields that I don't use (bike, stationary; rowing, stationary) to the "hidden fields" section.
However, as I said before, when I went back and made no changes to see if it was the specific changes that were being rejected, it still showed the error message when I clicked "apply" with no changes, indicating that it is not just specific changes that are being rejected; but any changes to those two trackers.
Hi John,
So sorry to hear that you are having this issue with the tracker. Can you give us a little more information? Can you give us some more specifics on what you are trying to adjust in the settings?
Thank you!
