Food Diary

How can I remove foods from my favorite foods list, or my foods, or whatever it is.
How can I enter mixed foods that I know the calories, etc of?

Woo Hoo! Thank you, Steve. I had a lot of duplicate foods or foods with only partial nutrient info in my list. Followed your instructions & was able to clean up my list pronto. It'll make it a lot quicker & easier to fill in my Food Diary with a shorter list to scroll through. Thanks so much to gailsonya for answering the question and Steve for answering it. You guys rock!

Try this:

Go to your Food Tracker. Click on My Foods (this link will be above the Click a Meal Below selection).

You should see a Select a Food box at this point. Click on one of your foods - a new box will open to the right of the Select a Food box. Still with me?

Ok, now in the right box, there should be a green Edit or Remove button for the food you've selected.

I think what you've been doing is going to a Meal and then clicking on Show My Foods. That menu tree is different and will only let you Add a new food.

Thanks gailsonya for asking this question...I've been trying to figure out how to revise my "My Foods" list, too.

Claire, when I click on an item in my "My Foods" list, it simply brings up the info I entered in the past. The only option it gives me is "Add" or "Cancel". I can not find any buttons, drop down menus or other devices to allow me to edit or delete a food I've entered. Could you offer some more details/step-by-step guidance on how to do this?

Thanks!

Hi there,

At the top of your tracker, click "My Foods" to see your whole list.  Clicking on any of your foods gives you the option to either delete it or edit it.  When you edit, you can add the calorie count.
