Hep MedHelp, did I miss the announcement about changes to the site?

I am having difficulty navigating to see the questions I want to follow or respond to and I can't tell who has posted unless I open the comment. And what do the those little symbols mean? The star I can figure out - best answer? but the others? and the significance of the colors? I also have avoided the really old messages that are no longer relevant for the most part but now, if someone randomly makes a comment to a post from 2007, I can't see the date of the original post without opening it. A little tutorial, maybe?

MH, you have a trainwreck on your hands. I'm accustomed to all kinds of abrupt changes and major software bugs, but many on the MS forum are not. Huge frustration there, basically for nothing. Please revert to the old format, and if you're going to bring in entirely different formats, at least announce them first.

It's all the way at the bottom of the page, listed under the heading "Support" on my PC  screen.

Might be different if you are using a mobile device?

Re my  #3 Complaint above, " Can not tell who posted a question and who has responded to it without opening each one."

This is the most important problem I see with the new format!

With no names of the questioners or the recent responders, it is very difficult to tell which questions have been answered, which ones I may have posted on, and whether anyone has added a comment after my last post.

It is a huge  waste of time to have to open each thread each day  to see if there has been any activity since I last read it or posted on it.

Hi everyone -

We are sorry you don't like the new design, but if you experience something that isn't working, or have feedback for this, please use the Contact Us link at the bottom of the page. We are tracking this, and having it centrally located helps.

To answer your questions -

4 - This is for a feature coming later.

5 - This is for replies to that particular post, rather than a more general reply to the thread. If you are on some social media sites or other message boards, this is pretty common.

I hope this helps.

I spoke too soon!! :-(

Now my OTHER computer has been switched to the miserable new format!

My complaints about it:
1. Unattractive--not so much a forum as just a list of questions; no colorful picture that has been associated with each forum.
2.No "back to community" button
3.  Can not tell who posted a question and who has responded to it without opening each one.
4. NO EXPLANTION regarding what the various bubbles, triangles, etc.,are for.
5. A box under EVERY post in a thread for the reder to use, rather than just at the bottom, which had always kept the responses in order.

Yes, as someone said, this is a major example of "If it isn't broken, don't fix it!!"

I agree with all of your comments about the new format "trial balloon."

Fortunately, I was switched back to the original one today.

Hope you were, too!!

"Huge frustration, basically for nothing"

That was also my experience with the change, but suddenly I have the original format back!   Yay!  :-)

Hope you do, too.

Hi, folks,

Can you let us know the specifics of what's giving you trouble?  The best way to do this is to click the "Help" link at the bottom of any page on the MedHelp site.  We appreciate your patience and help.
