I am requesting help with forum--PTSD

I do not have question but do have a request:  create a new forum for PTSD (post traumatic stress disorder) for those who suffer from it regardless of cause.  Please help me to get more attention to get this forum by posting or repsonding to my request, to get this new forum.  thank you

find it sad that medhelp does not have a forum for PTSD which actually means:  Post-traumatic stress disorder not Post traumatic shock disorder.  I am also saddened by fact that I have not found support to have this forum as it seems so many have problems with PTSD.  thank you

Thank you honey! I've seen some of your posts ~ your passion and caring comes shining through.

I'd posted about EMDR as tx. for PTSD and have been told that the VA recognized it as a viable treatment for PTSD but has no practitioners on staff. So I'm recommending they apply for treatment via "fee basis" for service rendered outside the VA, payable by the VA.

I'm also posting a second request for a PTSD Forum to be placed in MedHelp.
Not to duplicate your request, but to keep their attention on it.

Everone that wants PTSD as a separate forum here on MedHelp should also post a request here in the same forum as this post, but under it's own title PTSD Forum/Help:

Thank you for the suggestion, and this community just went live at: http://www.medhelp.org/forums/show/316. We actually also have a Military Health Issues community that deals with all issues, including PTSD at http://www.medhelp.org/forums/show/265. However, PTSD also extends beyond military issues, so we decided it deserved its own community as well.
