New Possible Community?

I am wondering if there would be any interest in having a Teen's Social Community.

I believe that it would be a good idea to have a Teen Social Community in where Teenagers would be able to talk about anything related to their everyday life, much like the MedHelp Social Community but this would be only for teens like the Woman's Social Community is only for Women.

I think this would be a really good way to help Teenagers be able to talk about what is bothering them in everyday life and talk about their hobbies, school and things like that. I believe that this would help relieve built up stress that the average Teen feels daily.

Maybe if a Teen Social Community isn't possible maybe you could create a Community in where all Medhelp Members could play games created by other members, maybe call it a Stress Management or Gaming Community.

This is turn would help take their mind off of their aliments for a while and maybe also help cheer them up. It could be a wonderful Stress Reliever for those members who join this community.

It would appear that MedHelp is aimed at an adult readership... I think that it should remain that way.

I agree with Please_Help950 that a stress relieving community would be nice for less serious, and more relaxing topics of conversation.

I also agree with Please-Help  there is a need for young folks to have a place of their own to unwind and share their pains and ailments.have a game or two, The Med Social sometimes gets pretty full of debate which we like but it is also hard for younger guys to have an outlet, be grateful if you would consider it,.

Sorry for the delay in replying. This is one we'll do a little more digging into. We do try to aim to an adult crowd, and the teen forums are specific to health issues concerning teens. This is an interesting idea though, so we will look into it.

Just checking back in on my suggestion for a Teen Stress Management Community. I was wondering if it is still being considered for an addition to MedHelp.

I believe it would be a great benefit to the Teenagers to help relieve stress by playing games and chatting about what is bothering them in their everyday lives.

I would like a social community about games, books, and stuff. Not current events or serious stuff. For all ages. The other social communities are too serious. I want to talk about favorite colors. Animals. Think of a game. Write on polls. Take a break from being sick to have fun.

If you don't just want to have a Social Community for Teens, I agree with somemonkey's suggestion to make this community for all ages. :)

I think this is a really good idea, but I would like to see a community like Please Help suggested for all ages not just teens. I agree that it would help take people's minds off of being sick for awhile and it turn help them feel better. :0)

We have a big new feature coming within the next month that will help out with new communities like this. Once this comes out, this will be one we can do for sure. Keep an eye out for the big news.
