Post last active?

A lot of people come and go and we leave detailed messages that they may never get. I was just wondering if you could post when "last active" on their profile page. Also it would be great if there was a place where we could post our emails so our "friends" could find us later on. Would that be feasible? Thanks, I really enjoy Medhelp.

If you post a question you automatically receive an email whenever there is a response to it so as long as a user enters a valid email address they will know when they get a response. You can also "watch" a thread that you are interested in without posting and you will get a response to that as well. Similarly, if someone wants to find you later on they can simply PM (private message) you and you will receive an email letting you know about it and you can decide if you want to exchange your email address with that person. This is a better (and safer) way to exchange email addresses as you maintain control over who gets it.
