Sleep iPad app does not appear to be fully functional

Just noticed that the notes I type in on the Sleep iPad app do not sync at all to MedHelp.  So the answer appears to be "don't enter notes on the iPad Sleep app".  This is yet another complaint I have with the Sleep iPad app.  It does to appear to be rather primitive and less than useful.  The other complaint I had about it (a couple of days ago) is that there is no way to correct past days entries.  For example, what happens if you "forget" a day?  You can't go back and correct it on the iPad.  Also, the syncing appears to be ONLY from the iPad to the MedHelp, not from MedHelp to iPad.  That means that corrections made on MedHelp (which does appear fully functional) never get to the iPad.  So the Summary data presented in each place (iPad and MedHelp) eventually drift apart and have NO correlation at all.  Too bad they can't fix these minor errors.

Hi there -

I responded to you on June 20th.  The engineers are looking into why this is happening for you, and I will let you know as soon as I hear back, hopefully Monday.

Been happening as long as I can remember. Perhaps not in the first month or so,but certainly for a year or more. I've been using the app since October 2010 (wow, that long!).  I've sent the email as requested. I'm happy to send anything else I've got lying around you might want!

Hi there -

How long have you been using the app, and how long has this been happening?

If you could do me a big favor, I'd appreciate it.  In the app, can you tap on Settings, then Support, and include your operating system (iOS), then send the email.  To find your iOS, tap on Settings on your phone, then General, then About.  Scroll a bit to find Version, and the number next to Version is your iOS.

Thanks!!

I'm having problems with the iPhone sleep app--constantly exits when I try to sync (can take 3-5 tries on my 3GS). I'm hopeful the next update (soon?) will solve this!

Hi there -

I'm sorry you are having problems with the app.

The notes don't sync at all, regardless of the device you use.  This will be changed in our next update, which we hope will be released soon.

If you tap on My Sleep at the bottom of the app, then on the calendar icon (looks like a notepad with a 7 on it) in the upper left, you will see the calendar.  From there, you can tap on any date to add or edit data you've entered.  You can also use the arrows on either side of the month to go back and forth between months.

The sync should work both ways.  Has any data that you've entered on the site end up on your phone?  Can you enter something on the site, then open the app, tap on Settings, then Sync/Backup, and check your username and password, then tap Save, and let us know if it appeared on your phone?

Again, we apologize for the inconvenience this may have caused.
