"Sort By" Disappears

This is only a minor thing so it will probably go to the back of your to do list, but I noticed when the "My Shortcuts" menu is displayed, the "Sort By" drop down box disappears from the page until the my shortcuts menu is gone.  I am using Firefox 3.6.3.

I noticed that, swampy.  Hold the mouse over the entire top selections....Forums, Health Tools, etc and the Sort By disappears then too.

Hey, thanks for the technical explanation of why this happens.

A lot of medhelp depends on javascript, that is what implements things like mouseover effects. When you trigger a mouseover, sometimes other widgets need to be hidden because, depending on the situation, one can interfere with another. Its not always location that causes interference, sometimes different browsers have limitations on what can be shown at a time.

If you hunt around on medhelp moving the mouse over things, you'll find there is a lot of appearing and disappearing going on..

I know but I'm just saying I don't know whether or not Medhelp's administrators are perfectionists or not and went it all in perfect working order so I just decided to report it anyway.

Well right, it does disappear as long as the Shortcut menu is up, but how long you going to keep that menu up?...only until you choose a forum to click on, then it comes right back.   See what I mean? :)

Well it wasn't a problem, I just don't know how much of perfectionists the people are who run Medhelp so it might be something they want to address but for me it disappears forever until the My Shortcuts menu goes away and then it reappears.

Oh...I see that too, but it's only for a second and comes right back.  I'm not sure how it's a problem though since you can't be clicking on two places at once :)
