just a comment

I think it would be nice to get notifications kinda like FB so we dont have to go searching through every post and get on so often just to check whether someone comments or replied back on our posts and on others, i think we can keep up with other mommy's out there when it comes to there labor stories also, i tend to wake up at night and i look at my app just to check on the mommas bc i dont like anticipation lol just food for thought!

Hi Emily

I'm sorry, I was referring to the e-mail notification for the watch list. If it's being revamped, I'll wait patiently...  well, sort of  :-)

The past few days, I've gotten e-mail notifications for PM's but it was sporadic for a few days (got some - didn't get others); it may be working  now - I only had one PM yesterday and I did get notice for that.  I'll let you know if that's not fixed, okay?

I haven't received the newsletter for ages (couple years, at least) and I just checked again, to make sure I have that box checked.

Thanks for looking into it for me.

Hi Barb -

Your watch list is working. You can find it in the Applications widget (box) on the left side of your home page, or here - http://www.medhelp.org/watches/list_discussions/649848?personal_page_id=861625

What isn't working is the email notifications for the watch list, and those aren't working for anyone. We are rebuilding the entire notification system, and I don't know yet when that will be done.

As for the newsletter and PM notifications, I am checking on that for you, and I'm sorry for the inconvenience. I was under the impression that it was working for you now.

My "Add to Watch List" hasn't worked for ages (close to a year)... I've been told it's a glitch and is supposed to be fixed "sometime".  I have all the appropriate boxes checked on my account settings.  Neither do I get the newsletter or any other e-mail notifications, except notice of a PM, but I don't always get those, either.

If you go to My MedHelp and then click on Account Settings, you should be able to adjust how frequently you're notified of changes to your Watch List.  Make sure there's a checkmark beside that option, too, so that you get the email notification.

Let us know if that's not what you're looking for and we'll be happy to try to help further.

Thank you.  I will go try it.  I guess what I should have asked is why they quit sending a Notification when one came up.

Anyway, I will try ito access it.  Thanks.  P

Hi - the watch list still works.  You can add a discussion to your watch list.  When you want to check the list, just go to your home page and click the "watch list" link on the left-hand side of the page.

Speaking of the 'Add to Watch List' feature, what happened to that on the Hep C Forums?  I used to use that a LOT when I first joined, then dometime in the Fall, last year, on one of the updates, it disappeared.  I LOVED that feature!

Please bring it back!

I don't believe the "watch" option is available on the "I'm Expecting" app at this time.  Thanks, ladies, for the suggestions.  We're always looking at ways to improve the app!

I don't know if you can see this on your phone,  but there is a button below that says "add to watch list".  I think if you check that,  you get a notification of responses.
