new forum

Since there is a forum for stage 3 and 4 breast cancer, several of us would like to know if it would be possible for a stage 3 and four ovarian cancer board. We need a board to discuss our chemos, side effects, and things without all the other confusion on the one board. Many of these women are leaving out of fustration, and we are having to find other means of contact.  Thank you

Hi,

We have looked into this, and decided not to create a late stage Ovarian Cancer community. We do not want to split this community further, and if you look at the late stage Breast Cancer forum, it actually did not do well and is one we may roll back into Breast Cancer. Thank you for the suggestion and feedback though, this is something we will continue to keep an eye on, but for now we're going to keep the community as is.

I think this is a good idea. However, do include Stage II ovarian cancer. It is considered to be advanced cancer because it has spread.

I agree that this is needed.  It seems if we express our opinions or feelings in the ovca forum we are often misunderstood.  Marie

I'm with you Donna.  As much as I love my friends without cancer and am grateful they don't have it, there are times when I wish there were a forum for just those of us with late stage cancer.  It is not the same to be worried about a cyst, it is not the same as having stage one cancer, & we need a place for those of us who are having to face some hard, possibly end of life, choices.    We also need somewhere we can discuss things that we can't on the forum because some topics upset the caregivers.
