HI,  it sounds like your child was in urinary retention from the paralysis, now is having problems. It's unclear whether your child has overactive bladder or is still retaining unine in the bladder causing overflow leakage.  Either problem can cause secondary problems like bladder or kidney infections, and potential kidney damage.  You need to see a pediatric urologist at a major medical center who can diagnose what the problem is and get a treatment plan started.
Good Luck
