I am 21 years old female and i have  painful overactive bladder about nearly 6 years now.
it all started in sudden a night while was in bed, i felt like something sharp was stabbing in my vagina, it looks like muscle apasm, in the morning when i woke up i felt stifness in my muscles especialy under my thighs and if lean forward or sitting down i was feeling like something stiking out or stabbing down my vagina. there were also lots of pressure on my vagina and hardly could touch my vulvul area it was tender and absolutely painful in the flowed days every thing has got worse the pressure it looked like there sre huge stone on my vagina. my uranary was also terrible it was tiny dark orange  and burning is well . i was desperate i could not even move i have to keep my legs distant each other other ways i would be hurt. i could not seen doctor that time but 3 years later i have seen gyno they did some testes including cystocop put my urethra and say my bladder has inflammed and its size has decrease the give tablet which helped me reliefe the pain, but now i have frequenty urine i always need the toilet more often i feel my bladder is full but when i got to the toilet is just tiny amount of urine it getting worse whe i have my priod and when it finish is well i also have pain all my muscles related this problems. it seems to me the problem is coming reprodut organs rather than bladder but it also affected the bladder because the long period of time. does any one have an idea what is thi kind of problem. or have ever experienced or even heard about it I am desperetly need your respond and will be highly apperciate

HI,  You have a complicated problem.  It's unclear what triggered your symptoms 6 years ago.  Was it an infection in the vagina or pelvis?  You didn't have an immediate evaluation so we don't know.  I assumed your Gynecologist has done a physical exam, urine and vaginal  cultures and this is now not a simple infection that could be treated with antibiotics. Currently you sound like you have either Interstitial Cystitis or endometriosis. Interstitial Cystitis is an inflammatory disorder of the bladder that causes urinary frequency, urgency and bladder pain.  Endometriosis is another type of inflammation of the lining of the uterus. Deposits of endometrial tissue can occur outside the uterus in the pelvis and can cause pelvic organ pain.  It is often hard to differentiate the two.  You need to see a Urogynecologist who specializes in pelvis pain, or a Urologist who specializes in Female Urology. These two specialists have experience differentiating these two disorders (you could have both), and know how to diagnose and treat them.   Good Luck
