Hi, Gabapentin/pregabalin is commonly used for neurologic disorders. In the urinary tract it could potentially be used in the neuropathic pain problem seen in Interstitial Cystitis (IC).  IC is a chronic bladder pain disorder.  It usually presents with frequency, urgency and pain in the bladder with filling.  The problem is that gabapentin has been unsuccessful in treating IC.  There are no randomized blinded clinical trials, but case reports and expert opinion shows minimal/no efficacy.  Currently there is no  evidence of effectiveness in treating IC or any other neuropathic problem in the urinary tract with gabapentin/pregabalin to my knowledge.  You can do a literature search with the key words:  gabapentin, neuropathic pain, interstitial cystitis and see what you find.  Good Luck
