Dark patches on knees

by Isch, Jun 30, 2008 04:05PM
Since giving birth to my son 9 months ago, I have in the last month  to six weeks got 2 dark & rough patches on my knees. The same thing happened to my sister with her daughter 3 years ago and she still has the patches, dispite using skin lighting creams

What is this, is there anything I can rub on them to get rid of this is there a cure and if so how long does it take.

If it helps I stopped breat feeding 3 months ago
I'm rubbing Bio Oil on them at the moment because its like the skin is deyhdrated  (the patches are more rough)

Ufortunately this forum is for those with IP and your symptoms do not sound as though they are IP.  Therefore I am unable to help on this web site.

I also have the same problem with dark rough patches on my knees which also appeared after the birth of my first child 3 years ago.  My Mum has the same as does my sister - all since giving birth.  Did you ever find an answer to this as I have just started looking.
