My Girlfriend Had bacterial Meningitis, What Are the Risks?

My girlfriend had viral meningitis and was on a drip for a week.  I am worried that when i kiss her or commit any other acts of close contact with her i.e. oral sex and sex, that i may be at risk. Please could you tell me any risks i may face from this. thanks

the contagious period of viral meningitis is much longer than thaty of bacterial, seeing as there is no real cure for a virus all that can be done is immune boosting complex and hope that your immune system can fight off the virus, i would wait just another week or so, seeing as this is a very nasty ailment ande it is not worth getting meningitis over kissing and sex
