Any ideas? Running out of options

by newbie51, Sep 11, 2009 07:13AM
Hi All,
Im a 36yr male and have had a sore dry mouth/gums/tongue for 9 plus weeks.
Last three weeks have been very sensitive to sunlight and will "burn" through my clothes. On one occasion my entire back was red for one day but still feels burnt as do my legs. My back often feels hot. My skin seems to be thinning and is very smooth.
My forearms feel as if they burn from under the skin. My wrists will burn simultaneously.
My eyes are sensitive to light and I find it difficult to focus and see bright white patches.
I have woken at night with both feet and hand tingling simulateously. More recently it was just my hands, then two fingers now it seems to have subsided.
I have also had Dysuria, sore throat, headaches on and off over 14 weeks, following "low" risk sexual encounter. Full STD screen at 12 weeks were negative for all - apparently had mono once but not recently. Just the last two weeks have had on and off lymph node enlargement in neck and under arms.
Was referred to rheumatologist who has issued a discharge with no findings. Now referred to infectious diseases specialist.
If anyone has any ideas that would be wonderful! Maybe something I can cure with salt water and olive oil?

exclude one of these factors:
Lyme disease
varicella-zoster virus (primary or secondary)
Leprosy (if you were traveled to an endemic area even decade ago!)
diphtheria
xeropigmentosum x-linked
