Bumps under arm

for about four years now I have had these Bumps under my arm I have used topical creams prescribed by my doctor, had them drained and still they are reoccurring. When I get them they leave me in pain and exhausted they also throw off my equilibrium. Is there anything that I can do? One doctor suggested I remove my sweat glands but still there would be no guarantee that these bumps will not come back.

Ok, I hope this helps. It also could be folliculitis or a furuncle? All these can be caused by Staph. It often is under the arm because it is damp there. Hope you can resolve this. Let me know how it goes.

they aren't boils they have a specific name but I can't remember what they are. I have used an antibiotic in the past and have a jell like cream that I'm suppose to put on everyday but sometimes it makes it worst. I've had them drained in the ER and urgent care but have never had a culture on them so maybe I will try that so that I can look forward to some resolution. My primary care doctor has really just pushed it under the rug and hasn't been really supportive so I'm currently seeking a new primary doc. Thank you for your advice

Hi and sorry you have this problem. Do you know what the bumps are? If not you should get a culture of them and see if they are caused by the bacteria Staphlycoccus aureus. It could be MRSA which is the resistant type. Are they boils? Do they usually treat you with antibiotics?
