Diseases from mouse

Is there any possibly get a diseases from a mouse feces get in my open wound.I am suffering from obsessive compulsive disorder. I am very obsessed with it.Also i am in my steady leave. i am not sure it is mouse feces.How long the virus in mouse feces live outside air.

Well, firstly you don't know for sure it is a mouse dropping. But if it is usually you get infected by inhaling the dust when you sweep, or get bitten by the animal or injest the feces in food by accident. Getting it by having an open wound is less likely but not impossible.  Viruses can sometimes live quite a while in materials like urine and feces but also it could be bacterial. If the would doesn't look infected , you have no fever, no pain in wound , no redness, I wouldn't over worry. You can see your family practice doctor if you develop any symptoms.  I hope this helps.

Yes, many diseases can come from mouse droppings.  You should clean up a mouse cage or house infestation using gloves and even a mask.  I'm sure wild mice carry more diseases than pet mice.
