Do mice spread rabies？

After I rinse my mouth in the morning and eat the tomato eaten by mice, My gums often bleed,can I be infected with rabies?

I have never heard of it. The Centers for Disease Control say animals like mice "almost never' spread rabies. So I think you are safe. Usuallly you get rabies by a bite also.
