Does Verorab Vaccines have side effects where your heart jumps?

Yesterday I took my fourth dose of Verorab-Vaccine. And today when I woke up, I had difficulty breathing and my heart kept skipping over beats and have this weird beating pattern. And I also feel really out of breath. Like I'm on a jog, when I'm actually just laying in bed, but this I know is a side effect. But when I have these heart-skips (feels like it stops for 2 seconds and then comes back in a harsh beat and continues weirdly) I can't breath. Kinda like if you fall down from somewhere and you can't catch your breath because of the impact. I have dust allergies, which have gotten worse and caused me a viral infection or something that makes it difficult to swallow and stuff, so I'm thinking it might have something to do with this? I don't know. It just feels like something is wrong. And it's freaking me out.

Well, is this the last of the vaccine shots you have to take? I guess since it has been a couple of days and you are okay you may not have to go the ER. It depends on how bad you feel. I do think you have some type of palpitations. It may have been triggered by the vaccine or not.

I was taking Flexeril (a muscle relaxer for my back pain) and I was fine for a couple of months on it but I suddenly started getting bad palpitations from it so I had to get off of it.

I haven't seen that your vaccine has this kind of side effect but it could be something else that is triggering your reaction but it seems like since you got the symptoms after having the vaccine it is suspicious that it may have caused some type of reaction such as a hypersensitivity rather than an allergic reaction or else you would be much worse off believe or not.

In any case you should get to the doctor and see if they can give you a EKG and 24 hour monitor and maybe Echocardiogram to check to see what is going on and be sure it is not Atrial Fibrillation or Tachycardia (very fast heart beat) rather than a more benign type of arrhythmia. I'm like you in that I have become allergic to a lot of things. Mold, dust, a lot of topical antibiotics, and some steroid ointments. It is worrisome. I am thinking of getting some skin testing done called path testing rather than the few tests they do. Can you get a appointment with a doctor in the UK right away? If not that is why I wondered if the ER might a way to get in quicker. Because I don't know how serious this is. It most likely is benign and may or may not be caused by the vaccine as a hypersensitivity issue but you do need to be checked out. Yes I know this is uncomfortable. Women tend to down grade their problems too.  Let me know if you have any more questions or if I can be of any more help.

Thank you for your answer!

I don't know if I'm allergic to Neosporin ointment or neomycin. I haven't used it before. But I don't know if I'm allergic to the vaccine. I have had a "rise" of allergies these last couple of years, so it might be like you say that I'm allergic to it. Feels like I'm allergic to everything. The only thing I find weird is why I haven't reacted on the vaccine much until now?

The heart palpitations happened again just now, it's sooo uncomfortable. I feel going to the ER is a bit dramatic?? I haven't gone to the ER before.

Do you know if you are allergic to Neosporin ointment or neomycin? If so then the vaccine has neomycin in it. Do you ever break  out in a rash if you use Neosporin? If so you may be having an allergic reaction to the vaccine. If you are allergic to Neosporin or neomycin call your doctor or go to the ER.

Do you know this is a side effect of the vaccine or could it be an allergy to the vaccine? It sounds like palpitations. If you got this right after the vaccine and never had it before I would call your doctor because it could be a bad allergy to the vaccine. If it is really bad you may want to go to the ER. If it isn't that bad, you can go to your doctor or a cardiologist and they can do a EKG and if that is negative they do a 24 hour monitor to see if you have an arrhythmia. A lot of them are benign but some need medications. So, I would get that done as soon as possible to make sure it isn't some thing that needs treatment. If both are negative you can also rule out structural problems by getting a echocardiogram.   I have had very similar symptoms caused by a medication. I had to stop the medication because it was causing palpitations that were really bad and I got the 24 hour monitor done and I had PAC's. These are where it feels like your heart skips beats but it isn't  and they are benign. but there are also PVC's and atrial fibrolation and other things. So it is best to find out if you need beds and if your heart rate stay even when you are sleeping and so forth. Most are benign. Cutting down on sugar and no caffiene will help a lot usually. But I would call your doctor as soon as possible to make sure all is okay. Like I said if it gets bad go on into the ER or urgent care. But, they probably won't do the 24 hour monitor there just an EKG. But better to be safe. It is very uncomfortable.
