Does viral load affect the amount of antibodies produced?

Does viral load contribute to amount of antibodies made / present in the body?
Avatar_dr_f_tn
Hi there,
Whether a person’s body will develop antibodies in response to any infection depends on his/her immune system. If the immune system is suppressed the antibody response will be very poor or not there at all. High viral load suppresses the immune system and may affect antibody development. Do write to me again with more details about your illness and test results. Hope it helps.
Best luck and regards!
