Dormant Chicken Pox ? Pharyngitis diagnosed as Chicken Pox ?

I had a recurrent throat issues for like about 2 months . Somtimes I feel ok but there is the feeling of some problem in respiratiory tract vocal box or pharynx. I met the ENT and he gave 3 days ERITRHOMYCIN . It didnt go off completely and it was mostly oderate cough . Then after new year party etc I again developed the symptoms of strong cough , uvula dark red .Along with inner throat irriation badly . Met the doc and he gave septid and Antibiotics . Further met the doc in a week and this time the right pharynx was red .... and he said some things dont go for 6 months and advised PENTIDS for a 1 month minimum . I stopped pentid as another doc advised me to take allergy tabs ... and then the pain started to reoccur . I couldnt swallow food through right side and suddenly it becomes enlarged and inflammated. So met the doc again he said its a PARYNX INFECTION . THe situation was ok sometimes ( AFTER STEAM , GARGLE) and sometime high . Most of the time I have a bad breath in my mouth like if I drink coffee n all .........
So this condition was like this and suddenly I used to feel like I would fall down etc ( mild) and weak .
All these times blood tests were ok and within normal range . So docs told me its a Chronic Pharyngitis.
But this Saturday I developed a mild fever contiued to Monday/ Tuesday a night mostly . So I went to a speciality clinic and met the consultant  , he ordered tests and most were normal except WBC was now 4000 .
And the adbomen scan showed spleen enlarged and gall bladder contracted and it was a splenography  
The doc then observed by modofy and he noticed some rashes  ,which started to increase over time and he said its a Chicken Pox symtpom and gave me ACIVIR Tablet strong course.I still have more rashes in body and hand which are painful in  hands especially and slightly itchy .
All this white , since yday I can swallow food because it hurts a lot in the throat .

I am wondering if Chicken Pox can be dormant ? And suddenly appear when I met the doc for the 5th time .
I am thinking this is a virus infection ...but want to confirm its chicken pox and not other problems to relieve anxiety .
