Hi, and sorry you have this problem. We are not doctors on here. But I am a microbiologist and can give you some advice. Since it has been 6 months since you had the so called swollen lymph node it may be a good idea to get another opinion about it. Usually, normal lymph nodes are soft, painless, and palpable (spongy) and in that area around <10 mm. So size wise it is a normal size but it shouldn't be hard. So it may not be a lymph node. It could a number of things like a muscle knot, or something else. I say muscle knot because I happen to have one in my neck that I got a CT scan of and that is what it turned out to be. So, it could also be a reaction to the dye but it has been too long I think. Some bumps can occur in the thigh area and can be caused by a variety of things from bug bites, hematoma, injury, tumors etc. If it is red and painful especially with a fever, it could be a infection but since it is not it doesn't sound like it. So the other opinion might be a good idea.
Hope this helps.
