Internal colonized MRSA
My friend has colonized MRSA in her stomach. She tells me that since it is internal, with no outward infections, that she is NOT contagious. Is this true or is she mistaken? I've heard that MRSA is extremely contagious and can be life-threatning. I don't want to abandon her, but am concerned about my health risk.
