Meningitis.

My 34 year old daughter suffered from meningitis 14 years ago.  It has left her with devastating symptoms.  My question is can the meningitis come back again as bad as the first time?

Yes it can. Being exposed to the bacteria that cause meningitis does not give one immunity from getting it again. They do offer vacines today.  There are different types of meningitis, some are contagious some are not. They can cause a person to become deaf, or worse, left in a vegetative state. Early warning signs of a stiff neck, fever, headache are common telltale signs. Having the vacination my not completely prevent the disorder but it could surely make it less devastating.
