Avatar_dr_f_tn
Hi,
Transmission of rabies virus usually occurs when infected saliva of a host is passed to an uninfected person through a bite. However, nonbite exposure such as scratches or contact with mucous membrane warrants further evaluation also. Additional information such as location, kind of animal and  medical history of patient. Take care and regards.
