Please Help Someone. Could this be Systemic Mycosis?

Is there anyone can help me, I am truly so upset and frustrated. Last summer I caught Ringworm from a Ferrell cat, it started off on the side of my face, a tiny ring which spread over my face. Took Lamisil for 2 months, didn't help. And my doctor well she thinks now its eczema. trust me I know what eczema is, and I also know how quickly this spreads if I don't wash my hands immediately. I had to stop college, my immune feels now run down its almost 6 months later and still feel this itching on my skin, it almost crawls over my face this itchy feeling, I put lavender oil on my skin and it helps it, but still 6 months later it just doesn't go away. I have tried everything possible from Oregano oil for 2 months to really strong Probiotics, herbs, vitamins you name it. My diet would be a nutritionists dream diet, don't take added sugars etc. at the moment I am on the alkaline diet, its a little hell. However I am going to do. You know when you start reading things on the internet about systemic fungal infection and mortalities, ect it just freaks you out. Any one got an insight or had similar problems I really really would appreciate your help or advice.

The only way I can describe is a feeling of crawling over my face (the itchiness) as I said in the previous post I am doing an alkaline diet at the moment. I know it is a internal yeast thingy as the minute I eat a certain thing my skin / face just gets so itchy as if on fire. So I apply castor oil and chamomile oil and this soothes it. The minute I see a ring coming up I cover it with a skin tape and a little natural anti fungal cream, it is gone the next day but this happens ALL the time. so basically at the moment this is like my job!
Our food is our drugs. Therefore I am being very careful in what I put in to my body. When this does not succeed then I am trying to go to another specialist.

Another thought is to see an infectious disease specialist or have a different doctor do a skin scraping of the fungus. That way they can see which species it is. It is kind of hard if it is on the cheek but on the forehead isn't as bad if it is there too. Getting another opinion is a good idea.

We are not doctors on here. But I am a microbiologist and I understand what you are saying. Do you have this in your scalp too? It could be a dermatophyte? This affects hair, skin and nails. ringworm is a type of dermatophyte. Have you taken oral terbinafine (Lamisil) for it? It sounds like you have it in more than one place and need to get it under control. I would wash or throw out the hat and anything else that could be infected with fungus. Bleach anything you can like tubs, showers, countertops and clothes. It can get into shoes as well. It is in the environment. So walking on the floor can give you a dermatophyte. Try not to touch your face except to wash it and apply ointment and then dry and don't reuse the towel and wash it and wash your hands. It is hard to deal with and environmental mold. But these eat keratin on the skin hair and nails so that is where they reside.

Hi. Yes it is 100% Fungal. My son has eczema so know exactly what this looks like and also eczema is not a contagious disease.
For example yesterday it was raining and I wore my hat, I took it off and went into my appointment forgetting about the fact I had already just worn my hat and cannot wear it a second time ( as needs to be washed because of spores)
I wore it and that evening on my forehead it was like a little animal was crawling over my forehead,
when I looked with my magnifying mirror there was an ugly ring, trust me there was nothing there before I put the hat on.
It is a living hell at the moment

Anyway you can attach a photo without putting your whole face just the area where the fungus or mark is? Make sure no identifying names or anything are on the photo.

Did you get scratched by the cat as well? Usually, they can give you a stronger anti-fungal cream for ringworm that works better. Lamisil does work but does take a long time and for a large area you need something stronger. I have had both ringworm and I have eczema off and on. I also have rosacea. So I hope I can help.

Yes you are right about washing your hands. Unfortunately, the herbal methods you mentioned are not strong enough either. They are soothing though. Usually, I don't find ringworm to be itchy. So I wonder if it isn't something else. Eczema is extremely itchy. There are different types.

I don't think by the sound of it so far that it is anything systemic. Usually those have a  cough and other symptoms.
