OK. I think you will be quite fine. But good luck anyway.

Thanks for the advice and I'll give you an update when I get the results. Wish me good luck. Thanks again!
Well if you think that the cut entered the vagina it will put your mind to rest to get these tests done. Your doctor may say the same thing that you don't need to. It is always up to the patient. So, once you do this put an end to your worries.
Sounds like skin wise you are on the mend. I would use the Bactroban until all the spots are totally clear.

Thanks again! The cut was near the base of my penis near the pubic area but It probably was not covered by the condom and entered the vagina. I noticed it after cleaning up but it was just clear fluid and made a scab the next morning. What you think does this change anything?
Thanks I will get me some to try next time I shave. I always use a disposable razor once and throw it away.
The folliculitis is actually getting better since about two weeks ago I use the antibody bactroban and almost gone. It's three tiny cluster like scabs left at the edge of my hair line.
I will take the other test to rule the remaining stds.
The only issue is the folliculitis. Is that gone or getting better?

Do you mean the cut was up at the top close to your pubic area not down next to head? If so then yes there probably wasn't any exposure to start with. It is up to you if you want to pursue this one more time to feel better or if you are satisfied. If you want to pursue it one final time then those 3 tests are the main things. Hepatitis C you get from rough sex and only from blood and body fluid exchange. It is all about what you feel would make you feel better and be done with this. There are two other STI's you can get done but they wouldn't survive outside the skin. So I wouldn't worry about it either way. You can get these three done and be done with it or forget about it and not get it done. Whichever makes you feel better. But don't worry about it after that.
Regarding the dry skin the Cetaphil restoraderm would be really good after you use an after shave and then let dry and add some of the cream so you won't dry out.
Relax I think you are fine!!

Also forgot to answer you on the dry skin. She looked at it and said the facial wash and moisturizer should help. She didn't make it seem like a big deal. The only thing I've done with my face in the last year was a face peel at a dermatologist and laser treatments for my neck to stop hair from growing in neck area. Always gets irritated when I use a razor. Always had a dry scalp and dandruff but know in my beard I get this flaky skin.
Thanks for the advice. I did get tested for everything except trichomonas and hep c. I did all the rest at 3 months. I can go back to labcorp and do those to rule that out also. They offer an Elisa test would that be sufficient?
The cut happened during the sex but I don't think it was covered because it was close to the base. I've had advice from the hiv forum and expert forum on here and have been getting no risk and even if it's conclusive to rule hiv out. Other sites say it's a no risk and another said I tested conclusive for hiv. If I test for those three things can I rule out all stds? Just trying to cover everything so I can move on without worry. I have a young family and made a huge mistake.
Firstly, I don't think your skin problems are caused by HIV or STD's. The folliculitis is usually caused by a Staphlycoccus bacteria and you probably got it through skin contact. It can be resistant to many antibiotics. You may want to try Neosporin or a triple antibiotic ointment. Put it on for a week and see how it does. I would make sure you wash your hands each time you touch the area. Wash any towels, wash rags and disinfect the sink handle etc. wash shirts and linen pretty often until you get rid of it because you can reinfect yourself and others. If that doesn't work go back to the doctor and tell them the bactrim didn't work and you tried triple antibiotic ointment too. Or you can go back to the doctor and just tell them it didn't work. Whichever order you want to do it.
To ease your mind you could get the 4th generation duo assay for HIV and you will be done with it. I'm not worried about it as I said your symptoms are not related, but I don't like the home kits. They are pretty good but are dependent on the person doing the test.
Sounds like you covered all the other STD's. You did Syphilis, CT , GC and did you do Trichomonas? Could you have been exposed to Hepatits B or C then I would say do those due to your cut if you got the chance of getting body fluid in it? If your cut had no chance of getting body fluid in it you have no risk to start with or very very little unless the condom broke or you used it wrong.
After that I wouldn't be worried at all about any of the sexual encounter stuff any more.
Did the dermatologist say what the flaky skin was? Dermatitis? I use Cetaphil restoraderm. It is great. But It is just for dry skin and seborrhea.
