So a 4 days ago I got a scratched by a rusty metal. That night I went and got a tetanus. I did not have a tetanus shot for 9 years. Today my neck and jaw really hurt and they have like spasms. What should I do

Since you had a tetanus vaccine before and then another one right now you should be fine. But do you have a high fever? I guess even though the tetanus shot is basically the treatment for tetanus you can see your doctor to ask if why you have these symptoms and if the vaccine was effective. Just to be on the safe side.

Ok update I went to the er after an infectious disease specialist diagnosed me with tetanus.i received tetanus immunoglobulin and a lot of antibacterial. Today it's gotten worse and I can't get out of bed. I called he infectious disease specialist again and they said go to the er again
They could admit you to the hospital if you really have tetanus. They will give you antibiotics in addition to the immunoglobulin etc.
