Hi,
How are you? Do you still have the symptoms? Can you elaborate on the 3 different places you mentioned? Symptoms of a vaginal yeast infection include itching in the vaginal / vulvar area, burning, soreness, pain during intercourse and/or urination, and vaginal discharge. Definite diagnosis is direct clinical examination and the doctor may take a specimen scraped from the affected area for microscopic analysis or for culture in the laboratory. A vaginal yeast infection is not considered to be a sexually transmitted infection, since Candida may be present in the normal vagina. If it persists, have this checked by your doctor for proper evaluation. Take care and best regards.
Hi and sorry you have this problem. Yeast infections are white cottage cheese like discharge. Bacterial vaginosis is white with a fishy odor. Yeast are very itchy and kind of burn too. Have you tried a 3 day yeast suppository? The sooner the better. Which three places are you referring to ? If it is anal and vaginal or near the vaginal area it could be that it spread. If it is topical you may need to get a topical cream for that area. I don't know about the red and swollen it may be irritated. I would try the yeast vaginal suppository if that is where your problem is, and see if that helps. It takes a day or two to get relief. Your symptoms don't sound like an STD as they have different types of discharges and symptoms.
