crabs ? scabies or something else ?,

Hello I've been posting on here these last couple of months about some symptoms I've been having. I got tested for (chylamida ,BV, trich ,syphilis, gonno , HSV 1 &2 , HIV ) all negative . it all happened after a unprotected oral sex encounter (give and receive). I have little pimple like bumps appear on my body , the itchy is still here but not as intense as before, vaginal bumps with no scars but scabs off like dry skin. Black head bumps on and inside my thighs and legs. Itching in pubic area as well.increased bowel movement. And pelvic pain.

Could this be scabies or crabs ?

Or am I looking in the wrong direction ?

Well, you can get arthritis. Yes it can.. it isn't always in the elderly. Maybe there is an autoimmune issue going on or it can be genetic. Has anyone in the family had it?
see link below.

I just went to get a full physical and swabbed the sores took blood to run some test hopefully its nothing . I'm African American . the doctor talked to me about arthritis maybe causing my joint pain but I'm under 25 is that normal ?

Okay glad you were treated. You should be okay then for that. I don't think you have to get retested either.

The rash on your face sounds like a condition. What is your family background. What country is the family from? If you have English, Irish, Welsh, Scottish or any Celtic type background you could have rocacea. If so there are topicals for it. I use acaleic acid (Finacea) cream. It is very expensive so hopefully the insurance will pay for it. I first put on Cetaphil restoraderm cream and let dry a little then a little of the acaleic acid cream on the areas affected. Rub it in. It only usually affects the face. If you don't put on the restoraderm it will make your face red. As for the arm I would get that checked out. But if you are not Celtic background it may be some other problem and I would see a dermatologist for all these skin problems.

I would also get tested for arthritis just to see since you have joint pain.

I want to emphasize that lupus is the #1 misdianosed disease. So be careful. If you get tested for it You are supposed to have at least 6 positive tests. ANA is not a good test to go by as there are many things that make the ANA test go positive. Lyme disease is one, and other diseases as well. By the way Lyme and rosacea can look identical on a biopsy. So I wouldn't believe them by just a biopsy. My best friend was misdiagnosed by her Beverly Hills rhematologist for years and treated with hydroxychoroquine (Plaquenil).for years and she went blind from the treatment. Now her new dermatologist says it isn't Lupus at all it is rosacea. She is doing well with out any lupus treatment (just to show it isn't Lupus) and is just treating the pimples.

When You got treated for syphilis, it would have been an RPR, VDRL or some times they reverse it and do the FTA first and if positive do the RPR.

It is hard to say if there is any damage to the body as it would depend on the diagnosis. If it was rhematoid arthritis that is chronic and so it could cause some damage. But then a lot of things are not progressive.

I think I would just see a dermatologist at this point.

I got tested for chylmedia, trich and syphilis 2 months after the encounter. And got cured for syphilis with a shot at the emergency even though they didn't send the results to the lab. 4 months for HIV , gonno , retested for trich, bv . I asked the doctor about herpes he looked at my vagina and said its not herpes .

Should I retest for syphilis even though I was treated but continue to have protected sex no oral with someone who was also tested before we got intimate ?

It's a dark pimple that doesn't hurt that's been on my arm on the skin no lump surrounded by a rash on my fore arm . my face looks like has a lupus rash. Bumps growing every where but they don't hurt . Does it sound like a skin condition?

When I got tested for syphilis the doctor drawn my blood. What kind of test would that be ? RPR or vrdl

And whatever my symptoms may be since I've had it since January would it cause damage to my body ?

I think I would get some further testing done. Get the bumps checked. Especially if any are solid and in the breast. Any thing that changes or feels rough and pigmented and stays on the skin. I am not sure what these things are that come and go unless they are blackheads? They could be. They can up in a lot of places. Maybe when you see one try to see a doctor. But, because of the arthritis symptoms you may want to get retested for syphilis just in case if you got the RPR and VDRL  test because it can give you about 20% false negatives or it is only 87-86% sensitive. So, you can get the FTA test and see if that is negative too. It only gives false positives if you have travelled outside the country to certain countries. So if it does come up positive then you get the confirmatory test that is called T pallidum particle agglutination (TPPA) test.

If those are negative you can test for rhematoid arthritis as well.

This is the only thing I can think of that you could have secondary syphilis that they didn't catch. Although it isn't likely. It is up to you if you want to abstain from sex or wear a condom while you get retested.

I've had a bump grow in my mouth then disappear after a day or two. I have bumps that disappear and ones that look like black heads that grow in my arm crease , thighs , one on my neck. I'm no longer itching but I'm starting to have joint pain. This started months ago and I've had various of symptoms . itching , achy bones , lesion that disappear but appear when they burned, headaches , sharp pains in body , recurrent bump(s) on vagina , rash on skin . I'm just starting to have these other symptoms in previous post till about 2 and a half months ago. Also everyday or every two days I get this tingling worm like sensation in my thighs or arms. But I wasn't feeling like this way until I had oral sex with a guy in January.

Do you think its std related or was it my body reacting to something ?

Are these symptoms of a std or viral infection?

Should I continue to have sex if I checked out clean ?

Is there another way I could get answers and testing then waiting on my doctor to refer me to a dermatologist?

I'm not sure what these spots are then. The ones that are darker. Are the bumps on your breast possible fibrocystic breast? I would get them checked. Normally the breast nipples have small bumps on them but if they are enlarged they could be Montgomery tubercules which are seen in early pregnancy. Have you checked yourself yet for pregnancy? The lump under your breast you should get checked out. It may all be hormonal. I am not sure here.

The eye sounds like sun damage. We all get it but I think the brown area is the sun causes this and it is not harmful. Is the bump on the eyelid very sore? It may be a stye. You can get a freshly washed wash cloth or clean Kleenex and put warm water on it and hold it on the closed eye for about 5 minutes a couple times a day  and it will go away faster. I get them a alot. It is a clogged pore.

You should get the other raised bumps on the chest and neck checked out. Some of the dark spots may be just pigment I'm not sure. The other may be cysts. But you should see what the doctor says.

Regarding the oral sex you were checked for all the STD's.  If you didn't have any sores in your mouth or bleeding gums you should be okay for other bacteria. You could get tested for Hepatitis B. Hepatitis C only if there was open sores.

No they are not raised . just a darker complexion . I have bumps around my nipple and under my breast and pelvic pain. And I notice a couple days ago my eye has a brown tinge in the white part of my eye ball just on the right side and a bump on my eyelid that's been there for a few months not. And I'm waiting on my doctor to refer me to a dermatologist

I wonder if the bumps all over your body are just colored bumps and are they raised or not? They could be petechiae. If they are raised they may be the staph.  The ones on the labia still sound like cysts. Are you saying these two bumps crust over? If so they could be staph. I don't know what the ones that look like blood vessels. I think you should see a doctor or dermatologist.

Yes I have bumps all over my body but not to the point there noticable . the bumps on my vagina are hard and invisible unless touched then you can feel it the main two bumps crust over leaving a dark scar as the bump still remains there. And two that's lighter than my skin color but looks like blood vessels .

I think the bump on the labia may be a cyst. But the other other bumps that are crusty may be a staph. Do the bumps that are all over the body follow the hair follicles? If so it can be folliculitis. This can be caused by a bacteria and/or both bacteria and dermatitis. So, you can see your doctor for it. Or you can try putting some triple antibiotic ointment on some of the bumps for a few days to see if those bumps start to go away. If it works you can continue until they do go away. They put more on other bumps. I wouldn't put it all over your body all at once. The treatment for folliculitis is either a topical or oral antibiotic. It would be best to have a doctor look at it to see if you also have dermatitis or if it is just a rash. But you can try it  on a few to see if it works. If you do have staph it is easily spread. So wash you hands well anytime you touch any of the bumps. Wash any clothes and anything that comes in contact with the bumps frequently.

I have little bumps on my skin that look like pimples . sometimes when I itch they appear . When I told the doctor about my itching he looked at my skin checked my lymph nodes temp and mouth he didn't see any signs of an std . I got checked for STDs and HIV but not skin bacterial / parasite diseases like scabies , straph , crabs . the bumps on my labia are recurrent . they come and go. I had a hard blood vessel looking lump that just went away and one that crust over . it itches from time to time . I have bumps growing all over my body but not a lot . do you think it could be a skin bacterial infection ?

Generally staph doesn't itch it hurts. What kind of bumps does it look like? Usually it can be crusty or  boils. It can have pus on them as well. Usually bumps on the labia area are cysts that come and go. You just leave them alone and they hurt some but they will go away.

They can cause vaginal infection, especially cause problems if you have an IUD. No they don't cause stomach rumbling problems that can be alot of other things. No not headaches.

So, It depends on what it looks like. You could try honey on the breast area if you think you have it. I don't think it is in the labia. I think those are cysts.

PID doesn't cause bumps anywhere it just caused pelvic pain and maybe a fever. So you might have that and another problem or you might not have it. It is worth getting tested for. Although this exposure didn't give you that. Maybe the bumps on the skin and face, and thighs are bacterial (such as staph) or could be dermatitis. Both of these cause an itch. I would see a dermatologist for those perhaps. It doesn't sound like a STD but you can get this from touching someones body (bumps) that had it. Also, it is in moist environments like the shower or gym etc.

But does PID cause genital bumps , bumps on the skin and face , and back pain ? I haven't had a fever. I've been dealing with this since January and got tested for (bv , mono, chylmedia , gonno , trich, syphilis , UTI , and HIV ) all came back clean I have no warts or blisters on vagina but they do reoccur and leave a scar . itching but not severe . sensitive to light sometimes. And I think I've had that before and got a iv treatment and came back after wards and got re checked in everything and everything was fine . I didn't start feeling this way until after I had oral sex in January I got tested for those in may .

Not necessarily. PID is a PCR test for certain bacteria that they would have to specifically test for. It depends on what they tested for. The White blood cell count is usually raised. But not always. It depends on how severe it is. That is not usually how they diagnose it. If you have pelvic pain, and a fever of 100  degrees or greater then they could do a ultrasound, Endometiral biopsy or Laparoscopy.  If positive they can treat with antibiotics. The test for BV is a vaginal swab then they take the swab do a smear for "clue cells" and pH and some other tests.

Scabies leaves burrows under the skin and dark red pimples. Not black heads and no pelvic pain or increased bowel movements.

http://www.webmd.com/skin-problems-and-treatments/ss/slideshow-scabies-overview

Crabs, look like tiny crabs on the pubic hair when you use  a magnifying glass. they also attach their nits (eggs) to the hair.

Do the bumps have a dent in the middle?

I suggest you see a dermatologist.

As for pelvic pain you might have pelivic inflammatory disease or PID. It can start with having BV caused by a pH in balance and the is makes certain bacteria take over and these bacteria can get into the upper pelvis and cause pain. So besides the dermatologist you should also check for PID and see a gynecologist..  Some tests for BV first and them about the pelvic pain.  See if they will test and/or check you for PID.

Do you use a IUD? That can cause pelvic pain and infections. So you could have two problems.

That is my take on this situation.

take care,
