Hi,
How are you? What other tests were done?  There is no single diagnostic test for lupus. The screening test or  ANA (anti-nuclear antibody) test is often done but a positive ANA test by itself is not proof of lupus. There are many illnesses and conditions associated with a positive ANA, including rheumatoid arthritis, Sjogren's syndrome, scleroderma, and lupus, as well as infectious diseases such as mononucleosis, subacute bacterial endocarditis, and autoimmune thyroid and liver disease. Certain medications  may also be responsible. It is best that you have check with your doctor for proper evaluation. Other factors such as your history, the symptoms present and results of other diagnostic tests. Take care and do keep us posted.
