Is dizziness and a feeling of vertigo a cause of lack of sleep?

This morning I woke up and immediately felt dizzy, and like I was having a beer buzz, but I haven't drank for months, I didn't have a headache, but I've just been feeling wierd all day long. I got abot 6 1/2 hours of sleep last night, which is pretty average for me, and I've never felt this way before. I feel like everything is in slow-motion, it's very strange. Thanks for your help!

Hi Rach,

When you drink you feel drunk partly because you are dehydrated, try and drink your 2 ltrs a day, if you don't think that is it have you eaten today? (could be low blood sugar).  If you have ruled all these out go to your GP it could be high blood pressure or something else.
